What is religion and what is caste?
If amongst people there is no trust.
Why so much struggle and so much pain?
How peace and quiet can we gain?
What is rich and what is poor?
If we make time to think, and want to be sure.
Why so much envy and so much greed?
Aren’t we all humans, all one creed?
What is sorrow and what is joy?
If life is not just a simple toy,
Why so many battles and so much death?
When will we believe in love, and keep the faith?
Think about it, remember it is true,
Man, when he is done and through,
From whence he sprung, there go he must,Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
